Jeep is legendary when it comes to providing vehicles for adventure seekers. From the Wrangler to the Grand Cherokee and the new Gladiator, Jeep has an SUV that will get you to your adventure and take you over any terrain. Take a look at some of the best Jeep models for your next adventure.
The Wrangler
You can’t talk about adventures and not start with the Jeep Wrangler. It is the most off-road capable model in the lineup. The Wrangler comes in two versions, the two-door and the four-door Unlimited, with the latter becoming the preferred model for many drivers. For 2021, Jeep added two new powertrains and a new Rubicon 392 to the lineup. The powertrains include a plug-in hybrid 4xe and a 470-horsepower V-6 for the new Rubicon 392. This latest addition to the Wrangler lineup has 33-inch tires, comes with all the off-road gear, and can get up to 60 mph in under five seconds.
The Gladiator
When you want the look of a Wrangler, and the off-road chops of a Wrangler but need a pickup truck, the Gladiator gets you both. It offers two soft tops and a hardtop, the option between a V-6 gas engine or a new V-6 diesel engine and a five-foot bed. When fully equipped, the Gladiator can tow up to 7,760 pounds, and the longer wheelbase helps it ride better on the road. Inside, this truck looks just like the Wrangler and offers upgrades such as a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and an 8.4-inch touch screen.
The Grand Cherokee
The Grand Cherokee is Jeep’s mid-size SUV. It provides a smooth and upscale ride on the road but still has the off-road capabilities you expect from a Jeep. For 2021 Jeep added a new L model to the Grand Cherokee lineup. It has an extended wheelbase and comes with three rows of seats. This makes it even easier to choose the Grand Cherokee for a road trip adventure because you can bring more friends.
The standard engine for the Grand Cherokee is a V-6 engine, but you can opt for a stronger V-8. When equipped with the V-8 and the tow package, this SUV can pull up to 7,200 pounds. Inside, it has all the comfort and convenience features you need and space in the back for up to 11 carry-on suitcases.
The Compass
The Compass is the perfect Jeep for an adventure. It has room for five, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 180 horsepower, and the lower trims come with a fun six-speed manual transmission. There’s a Compass trim for any adventure, whether you want to stay on the road or head over rough terrain. The off-road Trailhawk has a raised suspension, skid plates, tow hooks, and off-road tires. It also comes with hill descent control to help keep you in control when coming down off your mountain adventure.
These Jeeps have the power and equipment for any adventure, whether it takes you off the beaten path or you stay on the road. Browse through our entire Jeep Inventory at Floyd Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram today! Image by Jeep.com
