The Touring trim has the Stow’n Go foldaway seating, second-row sunshades, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The Touring L adds to this with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, while the Limited has a power-folding third-row seat and ventilated front seats. This trim also has an integrated vacuum cleaner. The new Pinnacle trim comes with the interior camera system so the driver can monitor the kids in the back.
The Technology
Standard tech features in the Pacifica include a 10.1-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker stereo system. The Touring L adds USB ports for the second row, and the Limited comes with navigation, third-row USB ports, and a wireless charging pad. Bumping up to the Pinnacle gets you an 18-speaker Harmon Kardon stereo, a household-style power outlet, which comes standard with a rear-seat entertainment system complete with wireless headphones.
The Safety Features
Safety is even more important when you have your whole family in the car, and the Pacifica comes with the latest safety technology. Every model comes standard with adaptive cruise control, a forward-collision warning system with mitigation, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist. A blind-spot monitor is also a standard feature, along with rear cross-traffic alert. The Pinnacle adds a surround-view camera system with a top-down view around the entire minivan. It also has an automated parking system that works with almost no driver intervention, and a parking sensor with automatic braking is another safety feature you get with the Pinnacle.
The Exterior Features
Chrysler makes it easy to get the entire family and their gear in and out of the Pacifica with power-sliding side doors and a power liftgate. Standard proximity entry means you can get the doors open even when your hands are full. Bumping up to the Limited adds a panoramic sunroof and an auto-dimming driver’s side exterior mirror, and power-folding side mirrors on both sides. The Limited also adds hands-free power sliding side doors and a hands-free power liftgate.
